Peter R. Gerbert's new Original Acrylic Paintings are done on Ampersand Gessobord and then varnished with Golden's UVLS Varnish, unless otherwise specified. Prior field research is critical; the artist will not paint any bird or animal that he has not experienced up close or in the wild. With a vivid imagination, almost as much time goes into the creative design of each painting as the painting itself.
