	“Discovering at an early age that Florida was truly remarkable with all its diversity, our state became the exclusive focal-point for my work as a wildlife & scenic artist. My old house sits on wooded acreage in Hernando County, but I consider all of Florida to be my true home and my stomping ground. With a vivid imagination and a lifelong craving for adventure, my original acrylic paintings are always based on experience and imaginative ideas. I won’t paint something unless I have experienced it in the wild; I never work paintings directly from photographs, I work exclusively from my own creative designs. My goal with my art has always been to achieve faultless realism with fine detail, and then to manipulate that realism achieving scenes that could never be captured with a camera. I hope that my paintings provide others with a colorful and insightful look at the relationships, the struggles, the reasoning and learning, the dreams and the adventures that all wild creatures must experience.” -Peter G
