Pursuing fine art for a living has been a tough and unpaved road to follow, but it sure has its other rewards, other than financial ones. Like when I’m out in my boat on some forgotten lake watching the sunset, with nothing but a breeze and the sounds of nature surrounding me. When I see an unusual living thing for the first time. When I see someone walking out of my art exhibit with a piece of my art and a big smile on their face. And your genuine interest in my wildlife art is my utmost incentive to endure and grow, with each new painting.

Some recent highlights regarding my art would include winning a very good number of 2014 spring art show awards, including 2nd Place and a great Purchase Award Florida Manatee Festival Crystal River, Award of Honor Apollo Beach Manatee Festival, 3rd Place Fine Art Englewood Fine Arts Festival and Best of Show Hernando County Arts, Crafts & Music Festival. It is always an honor to exhibit for the Florida Wildlife Federation; I had an elaborate art display set up for them at their recent Conservation Awards Banquet in Naples. Words can’t describe what a thrill it is to have my work on exhibit for them as their featured artist, and purchased by living legends in wildlife conservation. I was also delighted to have a piece of my art purchased by Alex Sink, who recently joined the FWF board of directors. She was the Chief Financial Officer for the state of Florida and treasurer on the board of trustees of the Florida State Board of Administration. After chatting with my friend Capt. Franklin Adams (also on the FWF board,) I may be doing another research trip into Big Cypress early next year; this time looking for turkeys as my subject matter.

This is a working art studio; not an 'art gallery' and isn’t normally open to the public. Attendance may be limited to a certain number of attendees. Please email the artist with your mailing address to receive a (really nice postcard) invitation to this event!
